Daily Tip: New WordPress CMS Tool to Restrict Access Based on User Roles

People often ask in the forums for a solution for restricting access to WordPress content. The WordPress Access Control plugin is a new option for easily assigning pages to “members only”, nonmembers, or specific roles. Users without access will be redirected to the URL you specify.
Restricted pages added to the navigation menu will not appear to users without the correct permissions. It fully supports wp_nav_menu, wp_page_menu, and wp_list_pages.
WordPress Access Control is excellent for WordPress CMS websites who need a simple way to restrict content based on user roles.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
