Introducing Jigoshop: A High Quality Free WordPress E-Commerce Plugin

A new free e-commerce plugin has arrived on the scene for WordPress users. Jigoshop launched last month with the tagline: “A WordPress eCommerce plugin that works”. The plugin prides itself in being lightweight, extensible, and awesome right out of the box.

Jigoshop comes with a wide range of widgets and shortcodes for displaying products anywhere within posts and pages. Shortcodes are available for featured products, recent products, products by ID, products by SKU, and products displayed from multiple IDs and SKUs.

Premium add-ons for the Jigoshop plugin include a professionally-supported theme and several extensions. The Jigotheme comes with 8 colour schemes and is optimized for mobile and handheld devices and written with HTML5 and CSS3.

Current available extensions for the Jigoshop plugin include Up-sells and Cross-sells ($15), Table Rate Shipping ($15), Jigoshop HTML Emails ($15), and SagePay Form integration ($29).
