Daily Tip: Edit Your WordPress Tagline for Optimal Display on Search Engines and Social Networks

This is a quick reminder to make sure that you change your tagline from the default “Just another WordPress site” to your own custom description. It’s very easy to forget this as you’re setting up your site. However, you’ll be glad that you changed it when readers start to share your content on social networks, such as Facebook:

You can edit your tagline by going to Settings > General > Tagline. This will ensure the best presentation of your site’s description when it is seen on search engines and shared on social networks.
