Daily Tip: Get Update Notices for Active WordPress Plugins Only

If you have a lot of inactive plugins on your WordPress site, you can be getting update notices all the time and there’s no way to clear the notices without updating. Update Active Plugins Only is a simple plugin that tells WordPress to only check for updates for plugins that are currently active on your installation. Install this plugin and keep your notices to a minimum.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
