Arras is a free WordPress Theme which was recently up for nomination in the WP Honors (beaten only by Twenty Ten!) It’s a solid, magazine theme with many of the features that you would normally only expect with a commercial theme.

Our Mini Review
The Arras theme provides what you would come to expect from a commercial theme, but it’s free. It has extensive options pages that allow you to set thumbnail size, change your layout and manage your custom post types and taxonomies. Not only that but it has loads of documentation and a thriving support forum which you can go to for help. Arras is one of those great things in life that you’ll always be surprised is free.
