Daily Tip: Enable Sitewide Widgets for WordPress Multisite

Have you ever wanted display some widgets from your main site on one of your other sites? The MUWidgets plugin makes this possible. It extends the standard WordPress widgets to be able to run on another site within the network.
Install the plugin and you’ll get a number of new widgets prefixed with the word ‘Site’. As admin you’ll be able to select any site within your network and click ‘save’. Now the widget is operating as if it was on the other site. You can use this for displaying the blogroll, recent posts from the main blog, or alerts and messages across the network.
Because this plugin/widget is provided free of charge, I simply ask you to link back to Pressography.com in a post on your blog, or from one of your sites. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just a note saying that you're using it, and whether or not you like it. However, there is no requirement that you do this, you're free to use the plugin regardless.
