Daily Tip: Customize the URL Slugs of BuddyPress Components

It’s very easy to change the slugs of BuddyPress components to match the needs of your site. For example, if you’d rather have http://yoursite.com/blogs be changed to http://yoursite.com/journals you can define the new slug in your wp-config.php file. You can customize all of them or just a few as needed. Here’s an example of custom slugs from the BuddyPress codex:
