Should we move to Facebook Comments?

With the advent of Facebook Comments I reckon we’ll see a lot of sites switching over.

Especially since Techcrunch just did, and posted a very interesting reflection on the pros and cons of it.

Of course there are already a buch of very promising looking Facebook Comments WordPress Plugins:

• Facebook Comments for WordPress which looks like a winner, especially as it also allows you to allow anonymous commenting alongside it (demo’d and supported here)
• Facebook Comments – basically an importer
• Facebook Comments Importer – imports comments from Facebook back to your blog (how’s that for an alternative :)
• Simple Facebook Connect – allows for the usual login integration

But this new system looks pretty tempting… especially (cue evil cackle) how commenting on an article is reflected in your Facebook profile, thus dramatically increasing the exposure of the article you’ve just commented on.
